From Chania Airport (CHQ) — approx. 1hr 30

1. Exit the airport and join the E75 national highway heading east toward Rethymno.

2. After approx. 60km, follow the signs to SPILI — turn left and go under the road. Do not take the Rethymno town exits.

3. Head south uphill toward Spili for approx. 17km. At the junction signed Plakias / Preveli, turn right.

4. After 500m you pass through Koxare village. Continue 4km through the dramatic Kourtaliotiko Gorge. Asomatos is the first village at the southern end of the gorge. Continue into the village — the pottery workshop Ydria is on the right as you arrive. Go through the village and continue straight until you see a sign to Villa Sto Lofo on the right. Follow the signs — we are the house to the left of Villa Sto Lofo.

From Heraklion Airport (HER) — approx. 1hr 45

Exit the airport and join the E75 heading west toward Rethymno. After approx. 75km, look for the large green sign for SPILI — take this exit, then follow the same route from step 3 above.
